Started here and never recovered. The butterfly motif, the psychopath narration, the campus setting, it's a whole vibe.
I picked it up on a recommendation without realising how dark it goes. The writing is compulsive and the tension is real, the content just wasn't my thing.
Obsessive, possessive, morally bankrupt. Glyndon holding her own against him is what makes it work rather than just being uncomfortable.
Killian is a genuinely unsettling hero and the book knows it. Check the content warnings before you start, this is not a soft romance. If you like your love interests frightening, this delivers.
