Read this in two nights. It's kind, it's funny, and the radio segments are genuinely well written — you believe people would call in.
Slightly devious is right. Every scene she's in is the best scene. Charming book.
If you want cozy contemporary romance with a great kid character, this is it. I did want a little more conflict in the third act, but that's a preference not a flaw.

A kid calling a radio hotline to find her mum a date, and a host who has quietly stopped believing in love — the setup is perfect and Borison absolutely delivers. Lucie is such a warm, funny narrator.
